I decided to spend the day catching up on my sleep and watching TV (eventful, I know!). So I really don't have too much to report for today but I have some great photos and info to share on the Style Swap I attended yesterday!

I had such a great time yesterday at the Style Swap hosted by Carolyn Becker of American University! She's so funny and super short, but in an adorable way! When I fianlly arrived (I got lost a few times), I lugged all my supplies, food and clothes to the room and helped with the set-up. I met one of Carolyn's friends/DJ/table mover and all around good guy Taylor! (Pictured below with Carolyn).

So here's the nitty-gritty details of the event:

The entry "fee" was a canned food donation which went to Positive Force DC and all leftover clothing will be donated to Goodwill.

Carolyn had this fab idea to set up an event that would not only benefit college students and fashionista's all around but that would also benefit Goodwil and the canned goods went to Positive Force DC! How cool was that! 

The event was a success! Tons of guys and gals showed up with a canned good item and a handful of clothes, shoes, accessories and goodies to share. Not only that but both Carolyn and I provided some yummy snacks! I met some great and funny people, networked, got some pictures and had an all around good time!  I snagged a pink glittery belt which belonged to Carolyn, a cute flowly gray and black top, a new winter scarf and a blue tunic dress!
